There is no hope. Everyone wants to be fun and interesting, thinking to draw folks in. But Twitter is already bare bones and has problems. But if someone built twitter from the bottom up, that would work.

I'm not sure if a truer thing has ever been said, my friend. Twitter is the ideal. But it needs a total overhaul.

I love that I met so many wonderful people on Twitter, but that just makes it all the more frustrating when Twitter is down! I also love that so many people flocked to Plurk, because that meant i could still talk to the same people ... but now Plurk is having the same issues in reliability as Twitter.
Preferably, I'd like some database/coding genius to go to Twitter and say, "Let me help." Twitter is *home* to me. I want to stay. But I need to be sociable. And if Twitter can't minimize the downtime, I'll go back to chat rooms and message boards.

@Hunee hey sis. Google bought Jaiku and then it went to hell, so let's hope they stay away from twitter.
